나진기 展   " 행복이야기 "   행복이야기_91.0x91.0cm_Mixed media_2016     대백프라자갤러리   2016. 5. 17(화) ▶ 2016. 5. 22(일) 대구시 중구 명덕로 333 | T.053-420-8015   www.debecgallery.com     행복이야기_45.5x45.5cm_Mixed media_2016      - 행복 이야기 -   자연과 함께 하다 보면 나누어 볼 대화가 참 많다. 일상의 한 부분처럼 흔하게 보여 지는 생명을 찾아 행복이야기를 나누어 보고자 하였다    긴 시간 역경을 이겨낸 조그만 생명이 자연의 끈질긴 이치에 따라 소외된 현장에서 자기만의 개성을 찾아 기억을 더듬어 자연에서 얻어지는 아름다움과 대화를 꽃으로 표현하고자 하였으며 또한 인간 역시 보이지 않던 자연을 벗 삼고 친화하며 대화하려는 노력을 행복을 담는 꽃들의 이야기를 통하여 나타내어 보고자 하였다    흐트러지고 나름대로의 멋으로 피어나는 생명을 두툼한 흙의 질감과 여러 가지 혼합 재료를 이용하여 사실적 표현과, 단순화 시키고 변형된 이미지를 반 구상으로 표현하고자 하였으며 캔버스에 넓은 공간감과 많은 여백을 두어  함축된 무한한 자연의 정신세계를 암시하도록 하였으며 또한 보이지 않던 조그만 씨앗이 온갖 풍파를 이겨내어 하나의 결실을 맺어 꽃으로 피어나는  과정을 묘사하여 우리의 곁에 두고픈 아름다움으로 승화하고자 하였다.   여러 번의 밑 작업을 통하여 겹칠과 덧칠과 뿌림의 반복적인 작업과, 흘림을 통하여 묻어나오는 자연스러운 수채화의 맛을 나타내기도 하였으며   나이프로 긁어내기도 하고 문지름을 이용하여 어우러져 나오는 밑색의 느낌을 하나의 통일된 주제로 나타나도록 하였다. 또한 우리의 정서와 어울어 질수 있도록 토속적이고 자연의 색을 만들고자 우연의 효과와 최대한 여러 번의 시도와 자연을 그대로 이용하기도 하며, 화면에 많은 것을 그려 하나 하나 지워가면서 감추어져있는 잠재된 생명을 투명기법과 불투명의 기법을 고루 섞어 표현하였다.   척박하지 않은 인간의 훈훈함과 더불어 살아가는 우리의 모습을 바램으로 하는 나의 작품은 주변과 서로 대화하고 의지하는 가운데 내 존재가치의 조그만 소중함을 알고 작품 속에 “행복 이야기”를 담았다.     행복이야기_91.0x91.0cm_Mixed media_2016     - Happy Story -     There are many things to talk about when we are with nature. I would like to evoke a happy story that is a part of daily life and nature that can be seen easily. I wanted to express flower as a thing of beauty and start a conversation about nature as a place where a feeble life overcomes adversity. Also, I tried to make a story that human beings should try to be friends with nature and I wanted to portray messy and untidy lives with realistic feeling using the texture of thick soil and many mixed ingredients. I also tried to express half design technique with simple and transformed images. In addition, I left a lot of space and margins to indicate the limitless natural world. I also tried to explain a time when a little unseen seed overcomes its hard beginnings, and becomes a flower. I wanted to describe the beauty of that process with the flower.   My works look like watercolor paintings with a lot of basic works, repetitive overlap, coating, sprinkling, and cursive skills. Moreover, I wanted each work to evoke one theme using a base color with scraping and rubbing techniques. I used materials from nature as often as I could to make folksy and natural colors, and I also tried to add Korean feeling as well. I mixed transparent technique and opaque technique and kept paining and erasing to indicate unseen life.
